Fiddler at Garland Summer Musicals a huge success
The wonderful musical 'Fiddler on the Roof' at Garland Summer musicals performed to sold out audiences last month. The show hit all new records for Theatre. The production was a wonderful merge of the traditional Fiddler that many people are used to with elements of the new revival that is currently on Broadway. The result was a smashing success. The cast featured Randy Pearlman as Tevya, Noel Mason as Golda and Neil Rogers as Lazar Wolf. The audiences loved it and so did the critics. I personally received outstanding reviews and feedback (I encourage those that saw the show to leave their feedback on my talkback section).
One reviewer wrote "As Lazar Wolf, Neil Rogers is in a category in himself. He’s convincing as both the harsh butcher, who obviously already had issues with Tevye, and the promised husband, full of hope and generosity. Rogers is skilled at switching between the two with finesse."
Up next, I tackle the role of Juan Peron in Evita. Another show that we are combining elements of the traditional broadway with some new elements from the latest revival. It promises to be a fantastic production, so please come out and see me in this powerful show and in this wonderful role.
