The Golden Apple Opens at Lyric Stage. Listed by DFW.com as one of DFWs 'Best Bets' for the weekend, this rarely seen musical is a grand experience. This musical is based on the Iliad and The Odyssey with an early 20th-century twist. Lyric Stage has restored another American musical and supports it with a cast of 43 and their acclaimed 36 piece Lyric Stage Orchestra. It has been a great experience working on this production and glad to know that members of the orginal broadway cast and family of the writers will be in attendance to watch this fabulous re-creation.
