'The Winter's Tale' at Shakespeare Dallas to open
I will be performing the role of King Polixines in the Shakespeare Dallas production of ‘The Winter’s Tale’. Performances start at Samuel Grand Park this week and will move to Addison Park next month.
The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare is a wonderful tale of two kings (Leontes and Polixines) who are childhood friends but unwarranted jealousy over Leontes wife break them apart and seemingly destroys Leontes family. Meanwhile in Act 2 in Bohemia, Polixenes has his own problems as he deals with the loss of his best friend and the defiance of his son.
Come see this intriguing tale directed by Rene Moreno as we see these two families struggle and finally come to resolution. This tale includes singing, dancing, a bear attack and the most famous stage direction in history (exit pursued by a bear).
